In the last few years, Pien and I have been excited to witness how learning self-compassion enables leaders, facilitators and teams to address Identity Threat and Stereotype Threat (which is a type of Identity Threat). Identity Threat is painful to experience, very common, usually unconscious, and it negatively impacts task performance.
